Sue Murad

Sue Murad is a multi-media artist working primarily in installation and performance. She observes the physical characteristics of everyday objects, and responds to them by arranging, altering, performing with, and/or documenting them. Location is a source of inspiration, leading her to work in an interesting variety of public and private spaces, including the MIT campus and her own house.

She has also shown at Mobius, the Gallery@Green St, The Revolving Museum, and the Cambridge Art Association. For the past seven years, Ms. Murad has run Orange, an art and design studio, doing sculpture, videography, and interior and store window design for clients such as the Boston Public Libraries. Sue is a member of the band, UV Protection, formulating media elements and providing stylized, choreographed movements.

She has a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and graduated with Departmental Honors in Sculpture, and continues to work and live in Boston.
